Best WhatsApp AI Chatbot for Small Businesses in Malaysia (2026, RM Prices)
Meta Business Agent, EezieLead, ChatFlow, Mampu AI, Wati, SleekFlow and respond.io compared on price, how the AI is counted, keeping the WhatsApp Business app, and who each one suits.

The short answer
For a small business in Malaysia that wants AI to answer its WhatsApp customers, these are the tools worth a look in 2026. The right one depends on how many people answer your chats, how many channels you use, and what you want to spend.
- Meta Business Agent is the AI built into the WhatsApp Business app. It is free for now, but Meta says it is only open to some businesses in some countries, it replies in one language set by your phone number, and it doesn't keep lead records.
- EezieLead is a WhatsApp AI built in Kuala Lumpur for small shops. It replies in the customer's own language (English, Chinese or Bahasa Malaysia, including mixed messages) from your prices, FAQs and products, saves every enquiry as a lead, and works alongside the WhatsApp Business app you already use. Free plan, paid plans from RM199 a month.
- ChatFlow is a Malaysian WhatsApp platform with an AI chatbot, team inbox and broadcasts, from RM149 a month. You start the 14-day trial by contacting their team.
- Mampu AI is a Malaysian chatbot platform that covers WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram and more. Free plan for 50 contacts a month, paid plans from RM99 a month billed yearly.
- Wati is a WhatsApp-first platform from US$69 a month. Its AI agent that answers customers, Astra, is a separate paid add-on.
- SleekFlow is a multi-channel platform for sales teams, with AI agents included from US$109 a month.
- respond.io is a Kuala Lumpur company and the most complete platform here, built for sales and support teams. AI agents start on its US$159 Growth plan.
We make EezieLead, so read this with that in mind. Every price comes from the company's own pricing page on 29 September 2026, and the links are at the end so you can check them.
Side by side
| Starting price | How it is counted | Keep the WhatsApp Business app | How you start | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Business Agent | Free in the app, for now | Not published | It runs inside the app | Switch it on, if offered to you |
| EezieLead | RM0, then RM199/mo | AI conversations a month | Yes | Free plan, no card |
| ChatFlow | RM149/mo | RM of AI credits a month | Not stated | 14-day trial through their team |
| Mampu AI | RM0, then RM99/mo (yearly) | Active contacts a month | Not stated | Free plan |
| Wati | US$69/mo | Users, AI agent extra | Yes | 7-day trial |
| SleekFlow | US$109/mo | Users and active contacts | Yes | 7-day trial, no card |
| respond.io | US$79/mo, AI from US$159 | Users and active contacts | Yes | 7-day trial |
None of these include Meta's own WhatsApp message fees. On the Business Platform, from 1 October 2026, each number gets 1,000 free service messages a month and Meta charges per message after that. Check whether that affects you.
How the AI is counted matters more than the price
Every tool here counts usage differently, and that decides what a busy month costs you.
- Per AI conversation (EezieLead): one customer's chat counts once a month, however many messages it takes.
- Per active contact (Mampu AI, SleekFlow, respond.io): each person who messages you in a month counts once, whether the AI answered them or not.
- Per AI credit (ChatFlow, respond.io): a ringgit or credit budget that each AI reply draws from.
- Per user (Wati, respond.io, SleekFlow): each staff login costs money.
A solo seller with 200 customers a month and one login pays very differently under each. Ask for the number at your volume, in ringgit, before you pick.
Meta Business Agent
Meta Business Agent is the AI inside WhatsApp itself. In the Business app you set it up under Tools, and it learns from your chat history, catalogue, website and Facebook page. Meta lets you chat with it like a customer before switching it on.
It is free in the app today. Meta says it will move to a paid subscription "in the coming months" and hasn't named a price. Its help page also says the agent is only available in some countries to selected businesses, and that the language it replies in is set by your business phone number. For a Malaysian shop whose customers switch between English, Chinese and Malay, that last point matters.
Good for a one-person shop that wants to see AI replies before paying anyone. It doesn't turn enquiries into lead records, and you have little control over how it sounds. We tested it on real shop questions in what WhatsApp's own AI still can't do.
EezieLead
EezieLead is a WhatsApp AI built in Kuala Lumpur for small businesses. It answers from the prices, FAQs and products you give it, and replies in whichever language each customer writes in, including customers who mix English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia in one message. Every enquiry becomes a lead record, and when you reply from your phone the AI steps back in that chat.
The Free plan gives you 300 preview replies to test your AI before connecting any number, then 30 AI conversations a month once WhatsApp is connected. Starter is RM199 a month (RM2,030 a year) for 300 AI conversations and adds the Bukku accounting connection. Growth is RM799 a month (RM8,150 a year) for 2,000. You pay Meta directly for any message fees, and EezieLead doesn't mark them up.
Good for a shop owner who sells over WhatsApp, answers in two or three languages, and wants to keep the Business app on their phone. See how coexistence works.
It is newer and smaller than the others here. It covers WhatsApp only, it doesn't send bulk broadcasts, and each business has one login today.
ChatFlow
ChatFlow is a Kuala Lumpur WhatsApp platform with an AI chatbot, a team inbox, broadcasts and a flow builder. The AI answers from your own price lists, FAQs and documents.
Starter is RM149 a month with 2 team members, 1,000 contacts, RM15 of AI credits a month and WhatsApp as the only channel. Growth is RM349 a month with 5 team members and RM50 of AI credits. Yearly billing saves 15%.
Good for a small Malaysian team that wants a local vendor to set things up with them. There is no self-serve signup, so you start by contacting their team, and RM15 of AI credits is the thing to ask about: how many replies it covers, and what happens when it runs out.
Mampu AI
Mampu AI, from Dataverse Sdn Bhd, is a Malaysian chatbot platform that puts WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, LINE and web chat in one inbox. Its AI builds a chatbot flow from a short description of your business.
The Free Builder plan is RM0 for 50 monthly active contacts, 2 users and one channel. Lite is RM99 a month and Pro is RM399 a month, both quoted at the yearly price. A done-for-you managed service starts at RM3,200 a month.
Good for a business that gets enquiries on several channels, not just WhatsApp. Count your contacts first: 50 a month is a trial-sized allowance, and every person who messages counts.
Wati
Wati focuses on WhatsApp: broadcasts, a shared team inbox and a no-code chatbot builder.
Growth is US$69 a month (US$54 a month paid yearly) with 3 users. Pro is US$129 and Business is US$229. Plans include some AI co-pilot credits for your staff, but Astra, the AI agent that answers customers, is a separate add-on. Wati bills message fees through its own rate card.
Good for a business that mostly sends WhatsApp promotions and runs rule-based flows. Budget for the add-on if you want AI answering customers.
SleekFlow
SleekFlow is a multi-channel inbox and automation platform aimed at sales teams, with AI agents in its paid plans.
Pro is US$109 a month with 10 users and 500 monthly active contacts. Premium is US$279 a month with 1,000 monthly active contacts.
Good for a team selling across WhatsApp, Instagram and other channels that wants AI plus a shared inbox. A solo seller pays for seats they won't use.
respond.io
respond.io is a Kuala Lumpur company and the most complete platform here. It puts WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, email and other channels in one inbox, with workflows, lead routing and reports.
Starter is US$79 a month with 5 users and AI tools that help your staff write replies. AI agents that answer customers on their own start on Growth at US$159 a month, and Advanced is US$279. Paying yearly saves up to 20%.
Good for a sales or support team of five or more across several channels. For a one-person shop it is a lot to set up, and the bill grows with users and active contacts.

Common questions
Which WhatsApp AI can reply in Chinese and Malay?
All the AI agents here are built on large language models, so they can reply in several languages. What differs is whether it follows the customer when they switch. EezieLead replies in whichever language each customer writes in, including messages that mix English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia. More in serving customers in their own language.
Can I keep using the WhatsApp Business app on my phone?
With EezieLead, Wati, SleekFlow and respond.io, yes. Meta calls it coexistence. We cover what changes on your phone and what it costs in keep your WhatsApp Business app and add AI replies.
What is the cheapest WhatsApp AI in Malaysia?
To start, Meta Business Agent (free for now, if offered to you), EezieLead's free plan and Mampu AI's free plan all cost RM0. For paid plans, compare the price at your own volume: Mampu AI from RM99 a month billed yearly, ChatFlow from RM149, EezieLead from RM199, then the team platforms from US$69 upwards before any AI add-on.
Is it allowed to use AI on WhatsApp?
Yes, for answering your own customers. Meta's 2026 rules keep general-purpose AI assistants off WhatsApp, not businesses using AI to serve their customers. More in WhatsApp automation without getting banned.
