Export a chat from WhatsApp
The fastest way to teach your AI is to show it how you already answer customers. WhatsApp can save any past conversation as a file, and you upload that file when you set up your agent.
You do not need many. Two or three typical chats, the ordinary ones where somebody asks a price and you answer, teach it more than a dozen unusual ones.
Where the file comes from
Every version of WhatsApp saves the conversation as a .zip file. That is normal, and you do not have to open it. Upload the file exactly as WhatsApp gave it to you and EezieLead will find the conversation inside.
When WhatsApp asks whether to include photos and files, choose without media. The file is much smaller, it uploads faster, and EezieLead only reads the words anyway. If you already exported with media, that file works too.
On an Android phone
Open the chat, tap the three dots at the top right, then More, then Export chat. Choose Without media. WhatsApp then asks where to send it, so save it to your phone or email it to yourself.
On an iPhone
Open the chat, tap the contact or group name at the top, scroll to the bottom, then tap Export Chat. Choose Without Media and then Save to Files.
On a computer
Open the chat in WhatsApp for Windows or Mac, open the chat menu at the top, then choose Export chat. The file lands in your downloads folder.
Uploading it
On the setup page, under WhatsApp chats, tap Upload chat export and pick the file. The conversation appears in the box below it, where you can read it and edit it before continuing. You can upload several chats, one after another.
If you would rather not upload a file at all, you can open the chat on your phone, copy the messages, and paste them into that same box by hand. The result is the same.
Before you upload, have a quick look
An export is the whole conversation, from the first message to the last. That can include things you would not want in there, such as an address, an identity card number, a bank account, or a password somebody sent you.
It is worth opening the file and reading it before you upload, or simply choosing a chat you know is ordinary. You can also edit the conversation in the box after uploading, so anything you would rather remove can be deleted there before you continue.
